Excerpts

Sweet, Sleepy Baby
With your innocent ways, you softened my spirit And my life is not the same.
Ten small fingers touched the fringes of my heart,

Curled themselves around it And took it from me forever.
Angelic Memory
Beautiful child of sparkling eyes
All the joys of eternity are in your laughter: Echoes of angel elation,
Musical in this new existence,
Ring through time from other raptures…

These poems celebrate many phases of childhood, often through the lens of a grandmother. They are sweet and observant, and you can tell they were written with so much love.
